Silk Laundering Made Easy

1. Fill a sink or tub with cool water and add a small amount of mild detergent. Avoid using too much product, as it can leave residue on the silk.

2. Submerge the silk item and let it soak for 3-5 minutes. This allows the detergent to penetrate the fibers.

3. Gently move the garment through the water, taking care not to wring, twist, or scrub it vigorously. Agitate it slowly and evenly.

4. Drain the washing solution and rinse the silk thoroughly with cool, clean water until all the suds are gone.

5. Carefully transfer the wet silk, supporting it as you go, to shape and air dry. Never wring out the water forcefully.
